{The girls this morning, playing "nap time" on the dining room table, haha}
Mornings are the best part of our day around here. Aside from the fact that I'm not a morning person, despite my children's best efforts to turn me into one...6:30 wake up calls just don't work for me. They're the best though because we all just laze around while I try to get my bearings and everyone is happy, nice to each other, and willing to help one another and me. AND breakfast is a really easy meal to prepare, haha:) After about an hour or so, I finally get going and I've noticed that I'm the most productive before noon. But after that...not so much. I guess that means that I really only get things done between the hours of 8 and 12. Wow, that's kind of pathetic. And it also explains why my house it always a total disaster zone:) But what a job, huh?! I'm so glad that I don't have to wake up at 4 in the morning like Devin does for work, and then not get home until well past dinner time. No way could I do that. I think I'm pretty lucky to be home all day with my kids, most days:)
My goal this year is to be more productive, less lazy. To get more than just 4 hours worth of work done in a day. Obviously I'm doing things all day long, but if anything significant is going to get done, it only happens in a very small time frame. I've been in super-organization mode since the day after christmas and even though it is taking me forever to go through every single little thing and find practical places for them(which is a challenge in a house with zero storage), it's starting to pay off and I'm seeing results from all of that tedious, time consuming organizing. Things are so much better around here and I love it. I am about halfway done with the house, and I hope that I can keep my motivation to see it all the way through.
Haha, this is so not what I sat down to blog about. I was just going to post some pictures of my kids from this morning with their bed head and mismatched pajamas and morning eyes because they are so cute to me, and now here I am going on about organization and goals. Too bad I can't be a little more organized with my thought processes:)
